3 Pen Pouch
This simple pouch lies flat, making it the perfect fit to slot into flat pockets on the inside of bags, or into a jacket or shirt pocket. It is flexible yet protective, and rolls up to fit beautifully in the palm of the hand. If you like you even can pop a rubber band over the top to keep it rolled.
The top of the pouch just covers your pens to offer full protection, but allows you to poke your fingers in to grasp the top of each pen. It is also easy to simply squeeze the pen upwards from the bottom for retrieval.

6 Pen Wrap
The 6 Pen Wrap ensures that your team of pens is always on hand for any work, drawing, or journalling situation. The wrap at standard size fits medium-large pens with ease (think a Pelikan M800), but of course accommodates anything smaller too. If your pens are oversize, or you have a mixed collection of skinny and wide pens, ensure that you note this in your order, and I can create slots of varied widths to suit.
You can push your pens down to the bottom of each slot for complete coverage , or clip them to top of the pouch so that you can more readily see which pen is which. The flap ensures that your pens do not rub against each other when rolled up, even if you do prefer the clips showing, and keeps your pens safe in transit.

Construction
All products are sewn on a Janome 6600 Professional mid-arm machine. This is a semi-professional fully computerised machine with myriad features including walking feet (ensures even stitches across mixed fabric types), and a large range of programmable special stitches for different functional and embroidery needs, including letter stitching. With a powerful motor it ensures a professional finish and tight lockstitching on even heavy duty fabrics and lightweight leather.All seams are triple-stitched throughout and lock-stitched at each end. This ensures tight seams with thread redundancy, so that if one thread of a stitch is snagged, the other two will keep the seam holding tight. I am a perfectionist in my seams and often go stitch-by-stitch over areas that are highly visible and/or that are under increased strain. This often results in a single wrap taking up to four hours to make, especially where special fabric placement or unusual fabrics of mixed weight are used!
Materials
As a quilter with a love for good design and a terrible shopping problem, I have a large collection of quilting / general use (lightweight) and decor / light canvas (midweight) fabrics. You may view my available range of fabrics on the Fabric Swatch page of this website, but please note that as my range is extensive I am still uploading images so please keep checking back.
Midweight fabrics and light canvasses have larger prints than lightweight cottons as they are often used for furnishings such as cushions and curtains. Due to their thicker threads and more resilient weaves (e.g. twills) they will best withstand the wear and tear of general everyday use, such as being dragged across table tops and pushed into and out of bags. Where I use the lighter cotton canvas linings (natural and taupe) I double these over to ensure enough protection and stiffness. The heavier cotton canvas linings (black, orange, red) are thick enough as a single layer.
Lightweight cottons have more detailed and varied prints than midweight fabrics, and prints are smaller and thus fit more easily within the size of a pen pouch or wrap. My range of lightweight fabrics is GIGANTIC! It will take a long time to catalogue them all, but I'm working on it, so do keep checking back on the Fabric Swatches page for updates.
Lightweight fabrics are still suitable for use, but will require extra care to ensure similar longevity to midweight products. This means putting your item directly into the bottom of your bag, rather than sliding it in and out against other contents, and perhaps placing the item upon tables rather than sliding it around. Where suitable I can add interfacing to strengthen these fabrics, so will ask your preferences in this regard. Certain interfaces can make a wrap stronger whilst still feeling floppy and light, or make it very strong and stiff so that the wrap can stand up even when empty.

Leathers
I do have some lightweight leathers and plan to begin using these in the future. Working with leather has specific requirements in machine setup and thread use that I have not yet fully explored and optimised, so I am not openly offering leather products yet until I am certain that I have determined the best approach and settings to produce high quality products. Should you desperately wish for a leather wrap in the meantime, please drop me a line. Perhaps yours will be the first ever! Please understand however this will likely have an extended lead time whilst I work it all out. I would rather decline a custom request than complete one to a rushed timeframe that may not result in a high quality product of which I can be proud.
